2008 Holiday Concert Schedule Announced For Historic Old Town Alexandria: Performances Featuring Popular And Classical Music For The Holidays

Enjoy the music of the season in Alexandria as a break between shopping, on your way to dinner, or just to get in the spirit of the holidays. Local performers volunteer their talent to entertain during this festive time. Outdoor concerts are cancelled in the event of inclement weather. All concerts are scheduled at Market Square, 301 King Street.

3 p.m. St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church Youth Handbell Choir (Holiday)

Friday, Dec. 19
7 p.m. Thomas Jefferson High School Choral Department (Choral Holiday) Following its performance at 7 p.m., the Thomas Jefferson High School
Choral Department will move to the lower King Street Arcade in the 100 block of King Street for caroling at 8 p.m.
