Alexandria police have investigated a bomb threat at INOVA Alexandria Hospital and determined that there was no bomb.

Alexandria police have identified the City’s most recent homicide victim as Juantissa Hill, 24, a resident of the Oakwood Apartments on S. Van Dorn Street.
Alexandria police are investigating the suspicious death of a 24 year-old female in the 300 block of South Van Dorn Street. Dec. 2, at around 2:30 p.m., police were called to South Van Dorn Street for a welfare check. Upon entering the apartment, officers discovered the victim. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police charged Dan Hegarty, 39, of 6003 Pratt Street in Alexandria with indecent liberties with a child under the age of 15 in reference to the Nov. 10 incident at Spring Hill Recreation Center.
The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a sexual assault that occurred on Nov. 22, 2008. At approximately 4:00 a.m., the victim, an Alexandria woman, was assaulted as she walked in the 1200 block of East Abingdon Drive.

On Nov. 22 at 4:12 a.m. the victim, a white Hispanic male Fairfax County resident, was assaulted by 10 to 15 persons and knocked to the ground.
He suffered a non life-threatening puncture wound.
Precious Matthews, age 27, of Miami, pled guilty Nov. 19 and Ezenwa Onyedebelu, age 20, and Brandy Anderson, age 30, both of Dallas, pled guilty Nov. 20 to conspiracy to commit bank fraud.
