Alexandria police have investigated a bomb threat at INOVA Alexandria Hospital and determined that there was no bomb.

Alexandria police have identified the City’s most recent homicide victim as Juantissa Hill, 24, a resident of the Oakwood Apartments on S. Van Dorn Street.

Police charged Dan Hegarty, 39, of 6003 Pratt Street in Alexandria with indecent liberties with a child under the age of 15 in reference to the Nov. 10 incident at Spring Hill Recreation Center.

Felonious Assault:
300 block of South Reynolds Street.
On Nov. 22 at 4:12 a.m. the victim, a white Hispanic male Fairfax County resident, was assaulted by 10 to 15 persons and knocked to the ground.
He suffered a non life-threatening puncture wound.

Felonious Assault/Arrest:
Edwin Bernard Richardson , 39, City resident , was arrested for felonious assault after a brief altercation with a known person in the 1300 block of Madison Street.

Don Michael Ayala, a civilian contractor stationed in Afghanistan, has been charged with second degree murder in the death of Abdul Salam while on patrol in Chehel Gazi, Afghanistan, on Nov. 4, 2008.
