A burglary suspect was arrested by Alexandria police after being caught redhanded inside the residence. According to police, Theodore Smalley, 54, of 8670 Buckman Court in Fairfax, was arrested and charged with burglary. Smalley is charged with entering a residence in the 4400 block of Duke Street by force on Feb. 27, at approximately 11:20 a.m. Smalley was attempting to remove personal property at the time of the arrest.
