Making Your Voice Heard

By Rodger Digilio

We were happy to hear from a member of the Electoral Board that several Alexandrians were quite upset on “Super Tuesday” when they came to vote and found no voting machines. We love to hear that Alexandrians want to vote. That is what democracy is all about.

These early birds and the rest of our registered voters can come back on Tuesday, February 12 and vote in either the Democratic or Republican primary, All of the City’s voting sites will be open from 6:00am until 7:00pm.

While some pundits think the Republican race is decided, there are still choices. On the Democratic side, it is anybody’s guess who will prevail at the convention.

Your voice is important. Let’s all be eager to vote on Tuesday. The machines will be there this time.
