Five T.C. Williams High School Documentary Studies students—Tim Mannel, Nick Greco, Sarah Allison, Katie Parkinson and Michael Baber —are finalists in Photographer’s Forum Magazine 28th Annual Student Photography Contest sponsored by Nikon USA. Their work will be published in Photographer’s Forum Magazine’s Best of College Photography Annual 2008 to be released in June.
Documentary Studies students are producing “Titan of a Teacher: A Photo Documentary of Stand-Out Teachers in One Public School System,” a book showcasing a selection of Alexandria City Public Schools teachers in both photographs and text. This 144-page, fine art book is available for preorder at www.wearethetitans.com and costs $20. It will be published in June.
