T. C. Williams senior guard, Tierra Ruffin-Pratt, ended the suspense on Monday evening and signed a national letter of intent to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Ruffin-Pratt made official visits to the University of Virginia, Rutgers University, Duke University and North Carolina this fall before making her decision. She told reporters from the T. C. Williams Theogeny that she was relieved to have the decision behind her and looking forward to the rest of her senior year. Ranked ninth among female basketball college recruits, nationally, Ruffin-Pratt is the all-time scoring leader at T. C. She missed the team’s regional play-off game last year because of a shoulder injury, which also kept her on the sidelines most of the summer. She is ready to play, now, and will be on the floor with her teammates when the Titans open their season on Dec. 2, at Forest Park.
