Since it was the first home game of the 2008-09 basketball season, the Titans wore the Parker-Gray, retro uniforms that “Remember the Titans” coach Herman Boone purchased for them last year for the dedication of the Earl Lloyd court.

Not only did the Titans lose six seniors last year, they lsot most of their height. The small, scrappy team, however, played very well the first half and, at one point had a lead of 13 points. There were too many fouls on both sides and, in the second half, the level of play deteriorated. Senior, Edward Jenkins, was the high scorer, with 19 points, followed by Junior Ryan Yates, with 17 points. In the end, the Titans won by four, 70-66. The Titans are 1-0. Their next game will be on December 12 at Edison High School.
