So the Feds take my money, keep a lot and send some to the City for Gang Prevention. Glad at least some of what they steal comes home. Now I would use this to add some police force–not hire new because this is one time funding, but use it to pay overtime to put more feet on the street. No, we waste it to do the job that the mothers and fathers should have done–teach them to be humans. We use it to remove tattoos! For a conference–send an E-mail. Hire an outreach worker–how you going to pay for him next year? Hand out a sheet of paper with the information. Expand PSAs–guess you better, I have never seen or heard one. But has research been done to prove they work? Are they getting picked up by the media? What’s the ROI? Educate? You see a gang doing something bad you call 911. How hard is that! How long would it take you to learn that?
