Well, taxpayers, this is it. This is the last week for individuals and businesses that owe Virginia back taxes to get square with the Commonwealth. Half of the normal interest charges and all of the penalties are waived for those who pay delinquent taxes by Dec. 5. Those who do not pay during this period will incur an additional 20 percent penalty.
