Last night, the T. C. Williams Volleyball team ended their season with a 3-0 loss at home to W. T. Woodson High School. It was an emotional night for the seniors, who played their last game at home as Titans. Their 2009 season record is 8-9.

[From: Sports]Helen Fonda, Senior and captain of the women’s crew team, won one of the most prestigious awards US Rowing gives to high school athletes. The award is a combination of grades, SAT score, and a high level performance at a championship regatta.
Titans Run Well At MileStat Invitational
[From: Sports]The T.C. Williams cross-country team traveled to Richmond on Saturday to compete in the MileStat.com Invitational 5k held this year at Pocahontas State Park. The cool overcast weather led to new record times in both girls and boys varsity races.

[From: Sports]Four T. C. Williams High School athletic teams saw action this weekend and three came away with victories. The football team beat Annandale, 31-7, bringing their record to 3-3, 1-2 in the Patriot District. The Titans had two interceptions, which resulted in touchdowns. Senior Cortez Taylor ran 24 yards for another T. C. touchdown. T. C. also converted an 18-yard field goal and completed a 12-yard pass play for a touchdown.
Titans Suffer Dramatic Loss To Annandale
[From: Sports]Last night, the T. C. Williams High School volleyball team traveled to Annandale to play the Atoms. The Titans lost, 3-2.
Anyone who watches volleyball knows that it is a game of spurts. Last night’s match between the Titans and Atoms demonstrated that in spades. From the first serve, the Atoms took a four point lead and the Titans played catch-up for the remainder of the game. Finally, the T. C. tied the game at 24 and went on to win, 25-24.

[From: Sports]October has been a mixed month for T. C. Williams High School athletic teams. On Thursday, Oct. 1, the field hockey team defeated Annandale, 1-0. On Friday, Oct. 2, the Titan football team traveled to Patriot District rival West Springfield. T. C. lost in a heartbreaker, 15-14. On Oct. 5, the field hockey was in action against Lake Braddock. T. C. lost, 3-1.
