Alexandria Celebrates Public Safety Officer Graduation

Alexandria's five new deputies and five new police officers graduated June 24 from the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Training Academy. Celebrating with the graduates were (left to right): Chief Deputies Lenny George and Tim Gleeson, Sheriff Dana Lawhorne, Deputies Myrna Juarez, Latonya Covington, Marybeth Plaskus, LeJuenne' M. Harding and Richard A. Hagar; Police Officers Brett Creese, Gustavo Paulino, Matthew O'Malley, William Rutz and Jennifer Simon and Police Chief David baker, Executive Deputy Chief Earl Cook and Deputy Chief Cleveland Spruill.
