I work out every day and the reason I am able to do that is by making it part of my daily routine. I have to be at work by 7:50, so I factor in enough time to get in at least 40-60 minutes of aerobic exercise. Instead of wondering, “am I going to work out today” I only have to think about what my work out will be. Sunday through Thursday nights I make my lunch for work, get out my work clothes and my workout clothes for the next morning. When I wake up I am ready to go! It also helps that I have short hair and don’t wear make-up.
My work outs for the last few days:
Friday: Jog to the Y (1/2 mile), 2000 meters hard on the ergometer (10 minutes), 30 minutes elliptical machine, 25 minutes upper body weights and jog home.
Saturday: I ran into Old Town and met my friend Marilyn and her daughter who I try to run with at least once a week. I ran a few miles with them, then ran back home. Total-10 miles.
Sunday: Ran to the Y, 30 minutes on the elliptical, ran 1 1/2 miles back home the long way.
