Artwork Honored
Fifth-grade students from Charles Barrett Elementary School received recognition for their art at the Alexandria City Council meeting on May 26. Retired Sen. John Warner, also honored at the meeting, gave students words of advice on the universal appeal of art.

“˜ABC’ Play

Car Wash

Sports Events
The T.C. Williams High School Fall Sports Orientation for student athletes and their parents is set for 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 4. The T.C. Williams Spring Sports Student Athlete Recognition Night will take place at 6:45 p.m. on Friday, June 12. Both events will be held in the auditorium at the school, 3330 King St., Alexandria.
