Keeping you informed about happenings around Alexandria City Public Schools

Don’t forget that this Saturday is America Recycles Day. Celebrate from 9 to 11:30 a.m. by cleaning up litter along Holmes Run to reduce the negative environmental impact of plastic bags and other trash in the City of Alexandria. Volunteers should meet at the Beatley Bridge at the intersection of North Pickett Street and Holmes Run Parkway. Saturday School Change

The George Washington Middle School Saturday School site will be using Door No. 3 as an entrance on Nov. 14 instead of the cafeteria entrance.  Registration will be done in the library.  Saturday School is from 9 a.m. to noon.  E-mail Jeanette.Jackson@acps.k12.va.us for more information.

Swim And Dive Team Benefit

Alexandria City Public Schools community members are invited to take out or dine in from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Fuddruckers, 4141 C Duke St., Alexandria.
