From Monday, March 2 through Monday, March 9, the Alexandria City School Board will seek public comment on the proposed strategic plan. A video summarizing the proposed plan will be shown during that week on ACPS-TV, channel 71, at 6:30 a.m. and 12:30, 4 and 11 p.m. The video will also be available on demand on the ACPS Web site. The video and the complete document, in English and Spanish, will be posted March 2 at www.acps.k12.va.us/board/strategic-plan/. Amharic and Arabic translations of the document will also be available early next week but may not be completed by Monday. Hard copies of the proposed plan can be obtained by calling 703 824-6635. They can also be viewed at the libraries and at each school.
All comments will be considered by the School Board prior to adoption on March 19. There are several ways to provide comments:
1. Use the online feedback form. Submissions will be forwarded to Board members.
