On Saturday, the Alexandria Titans Youth Football program hosted four championship football games at Parker-Gray Memorial Stadium. Seven of 13 Titan teams made the Fairfax County Youth Football League playoffs this season and three teams reached the finals.

The Titans’ 75 National Division team defeated the Braddock Road Wolfpack, 20-6, and finished the year undefeated. The Titans’ 85 National Division team was also unbeaten, and overtook the Ft. Belvoir Bulldogs 31-7.

But the Titans were not invincible. The Anklebiters Division 8 team lost to the Gainesville Grizzlies, 13-6, and ended their season 5-4.

In the Anklebiters Division 9 championship, the Reston Seahawks beat the Gum Springs Panthers 13-6.

The Titans’ youth football program is run through the Alexandria Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities. The team participates in the FCYFL with 25 other clubs, 360 teams and over 6500 participants across northern Virginia.
