I had a pretty busy day today. After arriving at Carla’s house, she and I worked on my grading policy article, which was the first hard news story that I had written for the site. We finally finished it and checked it for errors. I was really proud of all the research that I had done and all the facts that I had put together! Since it was such a long article, it took up most of my day. Carla and I had some pita chips, hummus, cheese and crackers for lunch and then began writing the fourth part of my prom article. We researched prices for manicures, pedicures, make-overs and hairdos. I really enjoy writing this prom story because not only does it give me a chance to inform others about the trends of prom this year, but it helps me find options for my own plans for prom. Later in the day, we added a post to my blog on the site. After that, it was time for me to go home and book a hair appointment for prom at a salon that I had done research on for my article.
