This morning I met Carla and Rebecca at the usual meeting spot and we all had some coffee. We put up my daily Senior Experience post and started working on another section of my prom article. This particular section focused on where groups are taking pictures and dining for prom, so we looked at a few different restaurant menus online. I showed Rebecca and Carla where my group was going for dinner, and got to check out the menu a little. Carla told me that Regan wants to take photographs of my group before prom. I’m really excited about that, and I think the rest of my group will be too!
After finishing up the next prom piece, Carla told me about different events and stories we will be covering next week. The whole week sounds ridiculously busy but so interesting! I’ll be doing things like going to a Civil Rights tea talk, meeting the Mayor, visiting the polls on Election day, and touring the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children here in Alexandria.
