After The Prom

Most groups at prom will probably stay for only an hour or two. It’s after the formal dance at the Marriott in Crystal City that will leave parents nervous, keep the police watchful and make the evening memorable for students.
Students will not be allowed inside the dance without their invitations. The throb of hip hop music and themed decorations will set the tone for the party. Students have the option to: eat, dance, hang out, dip treats into the chocolate fountain, drink punch, and have a professional photo taken with their date. Later on in the evening, party-goers will gather around for the coronation of the prom king and queen.
After the party is over, a long, fun-filled evening begins. Students plan to hang out with their friends at hotel and house parties, and many groups will party hop. For some, prom won’t end until Sunday morning when they return from staying out overnight. One group of T.C. couples will nestle near a bonfire and sleep in tents. Almost every group will end up going to IHOP at some point in the early morning.
